Friday, March 24: Go over HW worksheet in class. 11.5: Multiplying and Dividing Rational Expressions. Go through notes on how to multiply and divide rational expressions. We will do practice problems together on our notes sheet. HW: Students will begin assignment in class and finish over the weekend - 13 problems over simplifying and multiplying/dividing rational expressions.
Monday, 3/27: Students will turn in HW from over the weekend. We will begin our study over functions and domain/range. We will define what a function is and what the domain/range means. We will look at different examples of how to display a function: ordered pairs, graph, table, mapping diagram. We will take notes over functions. Students will use these notes to complete HW over functions. HW: relations and functions worksheet
Tuesday, 3/28: Walking for Education
Weds, 3/29: We will go over HW and turn in. Students will do a matching activity that practices matching domain and range to a graph in class.
Thursday, 3/30: We will wrap up our study of functions and relations by working problems together in class. We will work a couple problems from each set, and then students will finish the rest for HW.
Friday, 3/31: We will begin our study over simplifying radicals. We will take notes over simplifying perfect square radicals and do examples. Then we will take notes over simplifying radicals that are not perfect squares. Students will have a worksheet to do for HW over the weekend.
