Dear Parents and Guardians, Happy Thursday :) I pray you are well. I have information to share with you today. Please do not hesitate to call or email if you have any questions.
As you are aware, on Monday, March 23rd, Bell County Officials ordered a Shelter in Place until April 3rd. On Monday, March 30th, packets for Pre-K, Kindergarten and First grade will be available online for the week of March 30th and April 6th. Paper packets will still be available to families who need them. Please let the office/teacher know if you would like a paper packet on Monday. We will be happy to accommodate any delivery that makes you comfortable.
On Monday, March 30th, packet drop off will be available at the front of the school in designated bins, should you not want to enter the school building. The office will remain open during the school closure each day from 8:00-2:00, as we are considered essential employees. We are here for you!
Yesterday, Grades Pre-K through 5th began offering facetime to parents and students. This will be daily at the designated time. Your child’s teacher will send you a link each day to connect to your teacher live.
As of today, school will reopen on Tuesday, April 14th. There will be no classwork on Holy Thursday, Good Friday or Easter Monday (April 9th, 10th and 13th).
We have received many positive comments regarding our online education and we thank you for these. We would like everyone to have the opportunity to share their thoughts whether positive or areas where we may improve. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and help us grow and learn. https://forms.gle/H8SiEQQCrph5k8ty8
I am so sorry we will not be able to hold our 3rd quarter awards ceremony, that was scheduled for today. However, all awards for 1st through 8th will be mailed home (Kindergarten was sent home on Monday and Pre-K does not receive quarterly awards). As well, next week we will hold a virtual awards ceremony. I will let you know when :)
