Dear Parents and Guardians,
I pray you are well. As we move into day three of our closure, I would like to thank our teachers for their quick response and diligence to our new online learning platform. All teachers have lessons, videos, links and work posted on your child’s Google Classroom. The teachers will continue working in this manner, and no doubt expand on their tools, as their comfort level with our online learning platform increases. Please check both the website and the Google classroom daily so your child will be up-to-date on their learning.
I would also like to thank our students and you, our parents and guardians for your patience and willingness to embrace our situation. Please, please, please ask questions when you are unsure. If it is a question regarding a class, please email the teacher. If it is a question regarding school closure in general, or really anything else, please email me. I will be available by email every day.
As of today, we are scheduled to return to school on Monday, March 30th, as is Temple ISD. We pray that is the case but know that things could change. I will update you as information becomes available to me.
Monday, March 23rd, parents in Pre-K through 1st are asked to come to school to pick up their packet of work for that week and return this week’s work. Work will be available beginning at 8:00 a.m. There is no set time for this, but ask that work is picked up by noon.
On Monday, March 23rd, Pre-K and Kindergarten report cards will be included with the work packet. Report cards for grades 1-8 will be opened on Monday the 23rd, in RenWeb.
Ms. Morales has asked for your help in helping others see the online learning taking place. If you could send pictures of your child learning at home, we can share those with others on the website. It is a comfort for all to know that we are a strong community, even when we are not on campus. Please send pictures to [email protected].
With the cancellation of Masses in the Diocese, we seek the engagement of our spiritual community through social media. Masses will be available on the parish website beginning this evening and will be available each day. As well, the Mysteries of the Rosary will be available on our school website from our 3rd and 4th grade students. If you would like to record or video your family reciting the rosary or prayer to share with the community, please send your recording to Ms. Morales at the email above.

The online Tech Support is now available. Hours of operation are from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00pm to 7:30 pm. This is when you can expect a response before the end of the day. Anything after 7:30 pm will be responded to the next day. All step-by-step guides are available on the Elementary HomePage, Elementary Technology Page, Middle School HomePage, and 8th Grade Technology Page. Please check your emails and the website daily to ensure you have the most up to date information and "How to Guides".
Middle School Office Hours on Google Meet are:
Helpful technology hints: Have students use headphones when on the Google Meet. It will help them hear better. Students need to remember that “Office Hours” are not social times or social media. These are not mandatory for students, either. The “Office Hours” are available Monday through Friday at the specified times as provided. A new link will be posted every day for a new Google Meet. Students also need to know that the Google Classrooms are for school work only, as well. This is another forum provided so that they can ask questions, and again, not to socialize. All students are asked to check the website and Google Classroom for updated information and schoolwork, daily.
Please remember to email Ms. McPhie or submit a Technology Trouble Ticket when you run into any technology issues. Remember to email your Teacher for lesson questions.
