St. Mary’s Catholic School will have its first Beautification Day on Saturday, April 2, from 9-12. The reason for Beautification Day is two-fold: To create a sense of community among our school supporters and to instill a sense of ownership and pride in our community. We would like to do this by cleaning up the grounds, planting flowers, mulching garden beds, and assist teachers with projects that they would like to have done in their rooms to finish out the year. We will provide the cleaning supplies; however, we are asking for the flowers, mulch, and the like to be donations. We simply cannot afford the expense at this time. Student Council will provide a lunch for families and children. The lunch will be grilled hot dogs with all the fixings. Please let us know how many we can expect by Wednesday, March 30. Sign up sheet will be on the desk in the hallway, or you may call the school office and let us know. This will allow Student Council an approximate count for hot dogs.
