Bell ringer: Students will watch Dinner scene from “The Crossing” and discuss George Washington's strategy in ambushing the Hessians.
Coursework: Revolutionary War Notes
Homework: Illustrated Vocabulary Due Wednesday
Bellringer: Short clip over articles of confederation
Coursework: Class reading over wrapping up Revolution and heading into Early American government. Articles of Confederation debate page with questions.
Wednesday
Journal: After yesterday's class in your opinion what were the pros and cons of the Articles of Confederation?
Coursework: PowerPoint over Constitution with guided notes. Students will be given review for exam on Wednesday.
Thursday
Coursework: Students will work in groups to create a class constitution.
Friday
Continuation of Thursday with students presenting their group's work. The Students will then collaborate to make the group's constitution into one document.
