Dear Falcon family, During the month of November in Pre-K through 8th-grade, we studied the virtue of Prayerfulness. Additionally, students from 1st to 8th grade delved into the virtue of Loyalty, while those in 6th to 8th grade also studied Gratitude. At SMCS, we believe instilling virtues in the next generation is paramount. While academic knowledge like calculus is valuable, navigating today's increasingly secular world requires a strong foundation in personal virtue. **Prayerfulness** involves being still, listening, and engaging in a friendly dialogue with God. It embodies all that Jesus taught about prayer and reflects His constant communion with God the Father (John 10:30). **Loyalty** emphasizes faithfulness to the Catholic Church, God, family, and friends, even when it involves personal sacrifice.
