All students usernames and passwords have been emailed to parents/guardians. Usernames and passwords can also be found in your student's Google Drive. Search for the Excel sheet titled with your student's name and the school year (e.g., Sue Smith Passwords 2020-21).
GoMath (ThinkCentral)
Students' entire math book can be accessed online on the ThinkCentral website. If your student has forgotten their homework sheet at school, you can print it out at home from this website. Once you're logged in, click on "My Library" and then "Student Edition eBook, G4".
For students who are struggling with math, extra practice is available on the ThinkCentral website. From "My Library", click on the "Interactive Student Edition, G4". From there, they can re-watch the lesson video from class; this video is followed by the Personal Math Trainer segment, which provides them with extra guided practice. They can use the Step by Step button on the side if they need even more assistance with the problem, and they can click the Try Another button for another similar practice problem. Finally, there is a button on the side for Math on the Spot. This will play another video explaining the lesson.
ThinkCentral really has a lot of great resources for guided practice. I highly recommend that students use this website to practice.
Studies Weekly
Studies Weekly is a great resource for Social Studies and Science. Students can access the Weekly Readers online from home. The website will read each article to them, and there are practice questions at the bottom of most articles. There are also extra content videos that the students can watch. Students can earn Rev the Rat "coins" on the website by listening to the articles and answering questions correctly. It's a fun little game that they might like.
I have also told the students they they can count time they spend on the Studies Weekly website for their daily Reading Log.
***If your student was at St. Mary's last year, please be aware that their Studies Weekly username and password has changed. If you log in with last year's credentials, you will only see material from Grade 3. You must log in with the new credentials to access our Grade 4 material.***
Sadlier Grammar
Sadlier Vocabulary
The Sadlier websites are great practice for Vocabulary and Grammar Tests/Quizzes. For each Unit/Lesson, there are additional practice worksheets, interactive practice quizzes, and tons of interactive activities (games) the students can play. No login needed for these.
Sadlier Religion
Our Religion tests are generally open book, so you may not need this resource as much as others. There is a lot of good material here, though. There are chapter study guides, printable activities, and games. There is also a huge list of the different prayers. No log in needed for this website either.
