Spelling Words

1. This exact list of words will be provided to each student on Monday's. Students will be mastering Dictionary skills throughout the week by looking up these words, parts of speech learned (noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb), and definitions.

2. Each Friday we will have a Spelling Test. As we get further into the school year, this spelling test will also include a portion of vocabulary that will consist of either definition memorization or spelling and using the word in a sentence. *These are skills to prepare them for what to expect in 3rd grade and beyond.
